About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Barwon Health. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health and/or AOD needs in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct acute intake and risk assessments, and develop recovery-oriented treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based brief interventions and liaison with consumers, families, and other services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prioritize risk management strategies and provide clinical decision-making support.
  • Participate in peer case reviews and clinical audits to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Formal qualifications in Mental Health Nursing and registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and a minimum of two years of clinical mental health experience.
  • Ability to work across three shifts and provide flexible care in a dynamic environment.
