Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our Hydraulics, Engineering, and Fabrication Team at Hazelmere. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing Caterpillar and Komatsu earthmoving components and related products to high quality and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Repairing and maintaining earthmoving components and related products to high quality and safety standards;
  • Operating CNC Lathes, Manual Lathes, Milling Machines, and other CNC equipment;
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications;
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve project goals and deadlines;
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication skills;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;
  • Ability to work night shift and flexible hours;
  • Experience in Caterpillar and Komatsu machine component repair and maintenance;
  • Previous experience operating an Okuma;
  • Valid Forklift license and Dogging Tickets;
  • Valid Australian Working Rights;
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements.
