Sheet Metal Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Labourer to join our production team in Windsor. This role involves working with various types of sheet metal, including galvanised steel, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and brass.

The successful applicant will be responsible for measuring, folding, bending, knocking up and cutting sheet metal accurately.

This position requires general labouring works, including amending or replacing defective structures under the supervision of a qualified supervisor.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of machinery, understanding and reading of drawings, quality control and use of hand and power tools.

In addition to their technical skills, they must also undertake general housekeeping duties, adhere to supervisors' requests efficiently and follow Work Health and Safety policies and procedures.

We offer training for the right candidate and are open to mature age apprentices who are physically fit and willing to learn.

A Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade is desirable but not essential. A genuine interest in manufacturing/mining careers and willingness to take direction and follow instructions efficiently are key requirements.
