In partnership with our valued client in Launceston, we are pleased to offer a Certificate III in Dental Assisting traineeship opportunity. This program is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and work in a dynamic environment.
As a trainee dental assistant, you will gain experience in all aspects of dental assisting, including infection control, dental chair-siding, instruments, sterilisation of equipment, and administration. You will also have the opportunity to learn about oral pathology, dental equipment, physiology, and oral surgery.
During your 12-month traineeship, you will work Monday to Friday in the dental practice, assisting dentists and hygienists chair-side. You will also have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the instruments and dental tools used, as well as train in sterilisation techniques for equipment.
Our trainers come to the workplace to teach and assess, and senior staff are by your side to guide you through each stage of the learning process. You will also have the opportunity to assist with procedures requiring general anaesthetic in a hospital environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Working with Vulnerable People Licence prior to commencement. If you are a motivated individual who is eager to learn and work in the healthcare industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
