Job DescriptionAs a Retail Operations Director, you will be responsible for driving the financial performance and operational efficiency of our retail sites, ensuring maximum sales and profitability. This role demands a talented leader who can inspire and motivate teams, while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
You will oversee various aspects of store management, including leading and developing a team of employees and volunteers, embedding excellent operational and visual merchandise standards, and promoting a 'safety first' culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning and implementation to drive growth and profitability;
- Developing and executing effective merchandising strategies to enhance store appearance and attract customers;
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery;
- Fostering a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and professional development;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent leadership and management skills, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication abilities. A proven track record of delivering outstanding results in a retail environment is essential, along with technical skills and experience using relevant systems and software.
A degree in business or a related field would be advantageous, but not mandatory. What matters most is your passion for making a difference and commitment to our values.
