Chef Manager

Job Description:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated team of cooks to deliver high-quality, flavoursome meals that meet residents' tastes, preferences, and dietary needs.
  • Plan and execute seasonal menus that cater to diverse resident populations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Manage budgets, ordering, and rostering while maintaining cost-efficiency.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and the care team.
Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager or similar leadership role.
  • A genuine passion for food and its impact on people's lives.
  • Strong knowledge of aged care catering requirements, including IDDSI and specialized diets.
  • Understanding of relevant food safety regulations and commitment to compliance.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
