Supporting Seniors in Their Homes

This role is perfect for caring and compassionate individuals who enjoy working with older people. We are seeking reliable team members to assist with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation, enabling our clients to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Description:

As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide basic household chores to support seniors with everyday living needs. This part-time role involves 20 hours of work per week, offering a flexible schedule that suits those with other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Support seniors with mobility issues or other special needs
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Current unencumbered Driver's Licence
  • Own roadworthy transport with comprehensive insurance
  • Own smart phone with ability to use phone apps
  • Satisfactory Criminal record check
  • Fit for physical work - Perform push/pull, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation tasks including lifting items up to 10kgs
