About the Role

As a dedicated Career Empowerment Specialist, you will engage with participants to overcome career challenges, develop essential skills, and achieve their employment goals. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a supportive team who are committed to creating positive outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalized action plans.
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Collaborate with community organizations to create opportunities for participants.
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants through training, counseling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously within a team environment. Your experience in customer service, client-facing roles, or administration will serve as a solid foundation for this position.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or an administrative role.
  • Time management, organizational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills.
