Job Title: Signage Finishing Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Painting & Finishing Technician to join our fast-paced signage manufacturing team.

This hands-on role is ideal for a trade-qualified spray painter with a background in commercial, automotive, or high-precision environments.

You will be responsible for the preparation, painting, and finishing of custom signage components using 2Pac and acrylic spray painting techniques, along with light to high-level filler work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Painting & Preparation: Perform sanding, masking, material preparation, spray painting (2pac/acrylic), and light to high filler work on a variety of signage products.

  • Quality Focus: Deliver clean, accurate finishes that meet internal standards; identify and correct imperfections early in the process.

  • Production Efficiency: Complete work within estimated timeframes, maintain stock usage records, and escalate time or quality constraints to the Team Leader.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Graphics and Production teams to ensure seamless project delivery and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

  • ERP: Use the ERP system to enter time on projects.

  • Computer Use: Minimal outside of time entry.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Trade-qualified spray painter with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in a commercial or industrial painting environment.

  • Highly skilled in 2Pac and acrylic paint applications (essential); previous experience in signage production is a strong advantage.

  • Possesses a keen eye for detail and takes genuine pride in producing high-quality, precision finishes.

  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
