Early Intervention Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to provide evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to support children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
  • Provide information, education, and support to clients and families.
  • Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
  • Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Support inclusion and participation in community activities.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication and support.
  • Foster continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology or related field with current registration with AHPRA.
  • Passion for Making a Difference: Have a passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
  • Counselling Skills: Possess the ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
  • Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
