Senior Cook Position

Foodmandy is seeking an experienced Senior Cook to join our kitchen team. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences with fresh, high-quality ingredients and innovative menus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Foodmandy's recipes and presentation standards.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely food production.
  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and recipe development, incorporating seasonal and local produce.
  • Monitor food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices to comply with regulatory standards.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, stock rotation, and ordering to minimise waste and control costs.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior kitchen staff to maintain high performance and teamwork.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including equipment upkeep and compliance with safety standards.
About You:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Cook or similar role in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Passion for culinary excellence and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
