Early Childhood Primary Teacher

ACC Southlands is a growing school community located in a beautiful city, serving approximately 270 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 on-campus and a further 620 students through our Distance Education program. We are dedicated to sustainably stewarding God's creation and fostering a culture of excellence in education.
About the RoleWe are seeking a suitably qualified and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team, working part-time (0.6FTE) in our primary school. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting early childhood students as they begin their educational journey.
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student learning and wellbeing outcomes, and implementing effective teaching strategies. They will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess and report student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum programs
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
- Model and promote Christian values and principles in the classroom
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and TRBWA accreditation (or eligibility)
- Strong teaching and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Experience working with early childhood students and their families
- A commitment to Christian education and values
