In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in helping our partners across Asia Pacific and Japan achieve unparalleled success.

About this Role

You'll be instrumental in defining technical standards, providing architectural guidance, and empowering our partners to better serve their customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Technical Strategy Execution: Own the creation and execution of the technical strategy for our cloud program in APJ.
  • Partner Enablement: Drive improvements in our partners' technical capabilities through scalable mechanisms.
  • Technical Validation: Define technical validation criteria and best practices for the cloud program.
  • Community Leadership: Build and lead a community of solutions architects focused on cloud enablement.
  • Partnership Development: Work backwards from partner needs to influence our service roadmaps.
  • Content Creation: Author technical content, deliver presentations, and create enablement materials.

About Working at AWS

This individual contributor role requires collaboration with stakeholders across APJ and globally. Travel to partner and AWS events will be required approximately 5-10 times annually both within APJ and globally.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • IT Development: 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • AWS Expertise: Deep technical expertise across AWS services
  • Cloud Operations: Experience with managed services, cloud operations, and enterprise architecture
  • Leadership: Strong track record of technical leadership and community building
