Support Worker Job Description

As a Support Worker, you will provide essential assistance to clients with high needs. Your role will involve aiding with personal care and daily tasks, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to clients with disabilities in a shared living environment.
  • Aid with personal care and daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Assist clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs.

Requirements:

  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and relevant checks (Working With Children Check and NSW NDIS Workers Screening Check).
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
