Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Strategic Finance Partner to join our high-performing finance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and supporting strategic decisions across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of financial planning, analysis, and business partnering for a large-scale infrastructure and property business undergoing transformation.

About the Role

You will work closely with key stakeholders, including executive leadership and project teams, ensuring financial discipline, robust reporting, and actionable insights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the finance lead for allocated business units, understanding their value drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Supporting commercial decisions with scenario analysis, business case development, and financial modelling.
  • Translating complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Leading the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and five-year planning processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Analyzing revenue, costs, and capital expenditure, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
  • Designing and implementing improved reporting and KPI tracking to support business performance.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support investment decisions and evaluate commercial proposals.
  • Utilizing Anaplan and other planning systems to improve forecasting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensuring accurate integration of financial data across systems and validating assumptions to drive actionable insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • CPA/CA/CIMA or CFA qualified.
  • At least 7 years of business partnering experience, preferably in infrastructure, property, or large-scale construction.
  • Strong experience in capital expenditure analysis, scenario modelling, and financial planning.
  • Advanced Excel, business case development, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen, excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
