Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic educator to join our teaching team and contribute to fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

About the Role

This full-time position will commence in Term Three and requires a qualified teacher who is committed to ongoing professional learning and has a passion for teaching and student wellbeing.

The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and an ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

We are looking for a team player who is flexible and collaborative when working within teams and has a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with and compliant with the school's Child-Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Participate in weekly Professional Learning Communities (PLC) supported by curriculum leaders.
  • Attend meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain accreditation).
  • Demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
