We are currently seeking skilled Telco Riggers and Lead Telco Riggers to support our enterprise client in Queensland on a long-term contract basis.

About the Client:

Our client is a prominent global telecommunications provider, recognized for its significant contributions to communication technology advancements. They are actively engaged in extensive Wi-Fi (4G/5G) enhancement initiatives and are in need of (Lead) Telco Riggers to facilitate these projects.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing telecommunications network systems and services, focusing on the installation, upkeep, and repair of Wi-Fi, microwave, and core network transmission apparatus. The position may require working in remote locations for extended periods.

This is a full-time contract role with the potential for permanent employment.

Key Duties:

  1. Install, test, and maintain telecommunications apparatus
  2. Oversee project operations and lead rigging teams (for Lead Riggers)
  3. Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols
  4. Collaborate with supervisors and management to meet project requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  2. Rigging Certification
  3. Valid Australian Driver's License
  4. Construction White Card
  5. Working at Heights Certification
  6. Experience with RF cables and wireless technologies
