Histopathology Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced professional to join the Anatomical Pathology team on a fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:- Routine histopathology duties include specimen reception, tissue cut-up, processing, embedding, microtomy, frozen sections, H&E and special stains evaluation, troubleshooting, and immunohistochemistry tasks.
- Assisting in mortuary duties and participating in a rotating roster with various shifts, including mornings and afternoons, based on departmental requirements.
- Experience and good working knowledge of diagnostic Anatomical Pathology.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team with a strong commitment to task completion.
- Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory services, adherence to established procedures, and high attention to detail.
- Well-developed communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to maintain accurate records, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
