Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with experience in residential aged care to take on a leadership role as our Aged Care Clinical Lead. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the personal and clinical care of residents, ensuring that their needs are met, and that they receive the best possible support and services.

  • You will coordinate the clinical/healthcare needs of all residents, ensuring that their care is based on best practice guidelines.
  • You will assist with the development and maintenance of clinical documentation, assessments, and care planning for all residents.
  • You will provide direction, advice, and supervision to care and clinical staff regarding individual resident needs.
  • You will support and guide the RN In Charge role, enabling effective oversight of the care delivery team and ensuring resident well-being.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be responsible for coordinating various administrative tasks, such as rostering and staffing, and maintaining accurate records and reports.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience in residential aged care nursing, particularly in clinical assessments, care planning, and medication management.
  • An ability to operate independently and professionally with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
