Our Store Manager Accelerator Program has been designed to transform passionate retail leaders into the next generation of Store Managers. The program offers a unique blend of hands-on practical learning, mentorship, and coaching, enabling participants to develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this challenging role.

As a participant in our Store Manager Accelerator Program, you will be part of a close-knit cohort that will support and motivate each other throughout the journey. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in store placements, shadowing opportunities, and self-paced training, as well as receive ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced professionals.

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be fully prepared for your appointment as a Store Manager leading one of our supermarkets. In this highly autonomous role, you will have significant P&L accountability, as well as the chance to stretch your leadership capability as you manage upwards of 100+ employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong commercial nous, a passion for developing others, and the drive to make a real difference to your local community. Experience working in a retail environment is preferred, but not essential.

Key qualifications include:

  • A proven track record of success in a leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to delegate effectively to team leaders
  • Highly perceptive, resourceful, and innovative
