About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled cabinetmaking apprentice to join our team at East Coast Apprenticeships.

  • As a cabinetmaking apprentice, you will work with a team of experienced professionals to learn the craft of designing, building, and installing custom cabinetry and furniture.
  • You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including constructing and installing custom cabinets and joinery, marking, cutting and shaping wood using saws, chisels and power tools, and trimming and gluing joints.
  • Our ideal candidate will be well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual, with a genuine interest in woodwork and a positive attitude.
  • We offer a supportive learning environment, with ongoing coaching, support and mentoring from qualified professionals, as well as access to paid TAFE block periods and work shirts.
  • Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, and have the opportunity for long-term career prospects.
