We're seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic Brisbane team, specialising in Contaminated Site Remediation.
About the Role:
- You'll play a key role in designing and implementing remediation solutions across various sectors, including oil and gas, transport, manufacturing, and industrial sites.
- Conducting detailed environmental site assessments and analysing data from soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air, sediment, and surface water will be your responsibility.
- You'll support remediation projects by ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality fieldwork.
- You'll prepare thorough technical reports, such as Validation ESAs and RAPs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with technical specialists and auditors to develop effective remediation measures is also expected.
- Mentoring junior staff, assisting with project scoping, design, installation, and evaluation of remediation solutions will be part of your responsibilities.
- You'll build strong relationships with clients and help manage projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Contributing to the growth of the local team and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence are expected outcomes.
About You:
- You're a motivated professional with experience in contaminated site remediation, preferably in a similar role.
- You have a solid understanding of soil and groundwater contaminants and experience with remediation strategies.
- Familiarity with WHS regulations and hands-on experience in a similar role are essential.
- You possess skills in contaminated land sampling, investigation methodologies, and remediation technologies.
- You hold relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental engineering, science, geology, or related fields.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence is required, and you should be knowledgeable about local regulations on contaminated sites.
- You're keen to develop your skills and contribute to the growth of the team.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
