We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at La Milano Italian Restaurant in Orange, NSW.

About the Role:

  • Prepare and present high-quality Italian dishes, including pasta, pizzas, risottos, and other signature Italian dishes.
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients and authentic Italian flavors.
  • Ensure the presentation, taste, and quality of every dish meet the restaurant's high standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to the preparation of Italian dishes.
  • Assist in managing food costs and kitchen inventory to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience specializing in Italian cuisine.
  • Relevant qualification in Hospitality or Culinary Arts.
