For our Australian team, we are seeking a determined and autonomous Systems Engineer who will support customers with expertise in Linux cluster solutions, container platforms, automation tools, databases, and collaboration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provisioning, maintaining, configuring, and upgrading Linux server systems and/or cloud-managed services and applications
  • Debugging and troubleshooting Linux server systems and/or cloud systems, providing technical support and assistance
  • Solving complex issues and eliminating causes of malfunctions, collaborating with software suppliers when necessary
  • Analyzing monitoring events, identifying performance bottlenecks, and optimizing operations
  • Creating technical documentation from scratch
  • Collaborating with customers, participating in meetings, and coordinating efforts
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience as a system engineer in a Linux-centric environment
  • Good knowledge of current open-source technologies, Cloud, and DevOps customer journeys, and enterprise IT requirements (e.g., IAM, Web/App Servers, Collaboration, Groupware, Database, SAP/HANA, Virtualization, Containers, Linux Clustering, Systems Management)
  • Fundamental computer science knowledge (compilers, linkers, interpreters, OSI layers/TCP/IP stack)
  • Able to write code with basic error handling routines (error messages, logging errors)
  • Able to fix existing automations and implement new ones (triggers, simple changes)
