Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Specialist to join our Ground Systems Development Group at Blue Origin. This role is part of the Test & Flight Operations team, providing centralized support to Business Units with a focus on the design, build, and maintenance of ground systems, test, and launch facilities across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and cost estimates for ground systems development projects.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment on project objectives and milestones.
  • Support the development of project budgets and forecasts, tracking actual costs and analyzing variances.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project plans are aligned with overall program objectives and schedules.
  • Provide project management support, including document control, progress tracking, and coordination of project reviews and approvals.
  • Support the development and implementation of project control processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of project performance tracking.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project controls, program management, or related field within the aerospace, high-pressure system, or similar safety-critical industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of project management principles on complex, multi-disciplinary systems, including project planning, integrated master schedules, critical path method, EVMS, and change management.
  • Prioritized self-starter, capable of breaking down complex problems into traceable tasks and concisely presenting project status.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an estimated salary range of $108,360-$151,704 for on-site WA applicants and $99,330-$139,062 for on-site CO applicants. Additionally, we provide benefits such as medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
