About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of project documents, monitoring on-site activities, and reviewing project drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.

  • Maintain records of project documents, including drawings, dockets, and registers, to facilitate seamless communication among team members.
  • Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and report any discrepancies promptly to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Review and interpret project drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Assist senior engineers with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources, coordinating with suppliers and vendors as required.
  • Familiarize yourself with and enforce compliance with site specifications and drawings, maintaining a high level of attention to detail to avoid errors or omissions.
  • Participate in prestart and toolbox talks to promote safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Ensure inspection test plans (ITPs) and checklists are signed off promptly, facilitating project progression and minimizing downtime.
  • Compile and maintain quality assurance (QA) documentation to support senior engineers with submission processes, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, cost factors, and construction methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy, applying this knowledge to drive project success.
