We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Japanese Language Specialist.

  • They will also be committed to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in language teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Japanese language programs for Prep to Year 6 students.
  • Collaborate with Specialist Teachers to plan and deliver curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement, providing feedback to students and parents as required.

Requirements

  • Current VIT registration.
  • Knowledge of the Child Safe Standards.

What We Offer

\

This is a part-time position, approximately two and a half days per week, including half-day release for planning. The role involves teaching on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a half-day teaching and half-day release/planning time on Thursdays.
