Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Statutory Reporting Lead to join our Finance Hub team at The Coca-Cola Company. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving best-in-class compliance and statutory reporting across multiple countries.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of leadership experience in finance, with a proven track record of influencing, communicating effectively, and collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading a regional team of Statutory Center of Excellence Controllers (Stat Controllers) and managing the audit process for that region, including planning timelines and tracking compliance.

You will also be responsible for keeping abreast of the latest statutory reporting rules and requirements applicable to the legal entities in the region, taking global ownership of the local generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) impairment process for investments, trademarks, and other tangible or intangible assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a regional team of Statutory Center of Excellence Controllers (Stat Controllers)
  • Manage the audit process for that region, including planning timelines and tracking compliance
  • Keep abreast of the latest statutory reporting rules and requirements applicable to the legal entities in the region
  • Take global ownership of the local GAAP impairment process for investments, trademarks, and other tangible or intangible assets
  • Collaborate and communicate with multiple cross-functional stakeholders from various points of the enterprise's organizational hierarchy

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in finance
  • MBA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS/Local GAAP as a discipline basis for statutory reporting
  • General knowledge of regulatory environments
  • Understanding of financial and/or information tools and systems
  • Relevant involvement in significant change projects and initiatives
  • Virtual management across cultures and time zones
  • Experience in a multinational company with a global footprint
  • Operational excellence mindset

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
