Our client is a local government body dedicated to maintaining safe and efficient roadways for our community.

Job Overview:

Civil Road Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in ensuring our infrastructure remains in top condition by performing tasks related to road and stormwater maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance works on sealed and unsealed roads.
  • Operate equipment such as FLOCON machines, high-pressure JetVac units, and survey gear.
  • Read and interpret construction plans accurately to ensure correct levels are maintained.
  • Provide support for excavators, backhoes, and other earthmoving equipment.
  • Maintain open drains and swales, and assist with clean-up and disposal of illegally dumped rubbish.
  • Install and maintain road signage and pavement markings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A valid HR license and Front End Loader ticket are essential. Civil Construction, Civil Maintenance, Stormwater Drainage qualifications or relevant demonstrated experience are also required.

Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
