Handy Person Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our workplace and contribute to the maintenance and repair of our well-maintained heritage-listed hotel. Our goal is to maintain the hotel in peak condition through efficient use of resources and expertise.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing a wide range of repairs and preventative maintenance work in and around the property.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to Work, Health & Safety practices.
  • Lifting equipment and materials up to 15kg as required.

This role requires the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.

About You

Prior experience as a Handy Person in hotels, apartments, hospitals, or shopping centres is desirable but not essential. A customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills will thrive in this role.
