About the Team

The Commonwealth Bank's Tech & Ops Risk team is responsible for providing specialist Operational Risk and Compliance (OR&C) advice, assurance, and acceptance/approval of decisions made across the Technology, COO, and Supplier Support Units. We are looking for an experienced Artificial Intelligence Security Lead to join our team, who can provide expert advice on risk management and compliance matters related to Artificial Intelligence technology.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing SME risk management advice to crews aligned in Chief Technology Office and Chief Data and Analytics office, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on three lines of accountability activities, as well as contributing to the oversight and monitoring of key data, technology, and cyber risks.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have detailed knowledge of AI and Gen AI systems, ideally familiar with solution architectures such as Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Experience in Risk Management and Risk Frameworks/ 3 lines of defence model, ideally in banking is also essential. In addition, you should possess high quality written and verbal communication skills, report writing, evidence gathering, and data analysis capabilities.
