Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analysing financial information, and maintaining records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial activities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
  • Applies knowledge of the business environment within which the client is operating and how the client is positioned in the industry;
  • Assists graduates with work and acts as a mentor/buddy;
  • Prepares financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
  • Prepares documents for client meetings with Partner;
  • H Helps identify, research and resolve all complex accounting issues;
  • Prepares and analyses management accounting reports; and
  • Conducts tax compliance reviews of tax returns and FBT returns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major;
  • Completion of CA or equivalent;
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Committed to continuing professional development.
