Job Opportunity: Senior Inspection Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Inspection Engineer. This is a challenging position that requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities.

About the Role:

The Senior Inspection Engineer will be responsible for overseeing inspection systems, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining compliance with quality control standards. They will also be involved in reporting, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead inspection system readiness and vessel mobilization efforts.
  • Ensure accurate data capture and quality control processes are in place.
  • Maintain inspection documentation and ensure adherence to QA/QC standards.
  • Review inspection data to ensure project deliverables are met.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare daily field reports, calibration logs, and close-out documentation.
  • Liaise with clients and project teams to provide updates and technical advice.
  • Conduct briefings and toolbox talks to ensure stakeholders understand work scope.

Continuous Improvement & Compliance:

  • Contribute to lessons learned and process enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to client procedures, including HSE standards.
  • Support team structuring and review of contractor qualifications.

HSE & Operational Integrity:

  • Promote safety through participation in toolbox talks and hazard reporting.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness and compliance with safety frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or a science-related discipline.
  • Current CSWIP 3.4U, Subsea Inspection Controller Certification.
  • Other relevant NDT qualifications desirable.

Experience:

  • Preferable 5 years' experience as a subsea Inspection Engineer on diver and ROV scopes.
  • Knowledge of NDT inspection methodologies and ROV/diver intervention systems.
  • Knowledge and technical capability of standard industry Asset Integrity Management software.
