Leading Suicide Prevention Program Manager

Deliver meaningful outcomes and lead a vital new program making a real impact on the lives of Australians in need.
The Universal Aftercare Service provides rapid practical psychosocial support to people experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide guidance to the team ensuring effective and responsive service delivery to clients in crisis.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers, emergency services, community organisations, and families to coordinate care pathways.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and data to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage escalated client risks in line with organisational protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders.
Requirements for Success
- A relevant degree in Psychology or Social Work.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority is required.
- A minimum of three years' experience within suicide prevention and recovery is essential.
