About the Role:

In this role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to assess the complex needs of patients, plan and deliver individualized support programs, and provide education and resources to promote optimal health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for colorectal cancer patients at specific intervals throughout their treatment journey.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate bowel care management, support, and education.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum three years post-registration experience in cancer or gastrointestinal nursing
  • Demonstrated expertise in bowel cancer nursing and knowledge of relevant care pathways
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
