The Position

We are seeking a skilled Despatch Officer to join our team on a maternity leave cover basis until Mid-April 2026. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 3:45pm, and be responsible for:

  • Preparing consignment notes
  • Booking and arranging transport for regional and interstate deliveries
  • Printing labels and organising the despatch of labels and documentation to external warehouses
  • Laminating EIP's
  • Administrative duties such as data entry, answering phones and emails
  • Assisting sales representatives and other staff with their queries
About You

We are looking for an exceptional individual with:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
  • Experience in transport, shipping, warehousing, manufacturing or similar logistics role – highly advantageous
  • Confident liaising with a variety of people – including customers, transport/shipping companies and across teams/functions
  • Ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively
  • Computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Flexible and able to handle a changing workload
