Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our vibrant Finance team on a fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Regional Financial Accounting Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to prepare monthly and annual financial statements for a portfolio of shared venture stores in Australia and New Zealand.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring precise financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of Profit and Loss statements while working with diverse teams.
- Conducting thorough bank reconciliations for all store accounts.
- Engaging with store partners and stakeholders to provide accurate data for performance analysis.
- Utilizing your accounting expertise to drive efficiency and excellence in a dynamic setting.
Desired Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Part Qualified / Qualified CPA/CA.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to provide accurate information for performance analysis.
- Intermediate Excel skills are essential.
- A motivated team player with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
