About this role:

Visual Identity Specialist

Our organisation is seeking an experienced Visual Identity Specialist to create captivating visual elements that bring our brands to life across various mediums.

  • Develop point-of-sale materials, including neck tags, posters, shelf-talkers, brochures, trade presenters and launch documents for planned and ad-hoc activities.
  • Design point-of-sale materials for on-premise channels, such as menus and wine of the month cards.
  • Contribute to the development of core brand imagery libraries, encompassing design, photography, and video content.
  • Adapt and implement key visuals across multiple dimensions for both print and digital applications.
  • Generate digital assets for electronic direct mailers, websites, online advertising, and social media platforms.
  • Retouch and edit product images to suit various platforms and uses.
  • Assist in packaging and label design for new and existing products.
  • Coordinate project timelines and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to interpret briefs and develop creative solutions.
  • Integrate feedback while maintaining brand consistency and meeting campaign objectives.

About you:

  • You hold a degree in Design or a related field.
  • You possess at least 4 years' experience as a Visual Identity Specialist, preferably within FMCG, beverages, or wine sectors.
  • You have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro (After Effects desirable).
  • You demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can work from existing templates as well as create innovative designs.
  • You exhibit strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines.
  • You possess a self-motivated mindset with a genuine passion for design.
  • You have solid knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation, colour management, and prepress.
