**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Carer Peer Mentor, you will work closely with families and carers of young people accessing our crisis intervention service. Your primary responsibilities will include providing peer support, designing and co-developing interventions, and evaluating their effectiveness.
You will also be responsible for building trusting relationships with families and carers, and empowering them with recovery-oriented tools. Additionally, you will contribute to education and training programs, participate in research, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards.
The successful candidate will possess substantial lived experience of caring for a child or young person through mental health challenges and recovery. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as knowledge of child and youth mental health principles and practices.
