Gynaecology and Obstetrics Specialist Position
Description:- This is a full-time position, with a fixed contract of 86 hours per fortnight.
- The classification for this role is HM25-HM30.
EBA: Victorian Public Health Sector – Doctors In Training Enterprise Agreement
Classification: Registrar Year 1-6+ (HM25-30)
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in the region.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centred care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
Northeast Health Wangaratta provides comprehensive medical services to a population of approximately 102,000 people. The hospital performs over 6,500 procedures annually, has over 19,000 inpatient episodes, and 30,000 Emergency Department attendances. Our maternity department delivers around 700 births each year.
Requirements:- Ambulatory Care Qualifications or Higher;
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner;
- Eligibility for Victorian Public Health Sector – Doctors In Training Enterprise Agreement;
- Familiarity with EHRs and EMRs;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
