Employment Specialist Role

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled professionals to fill the role of Employment Specialists. As an Employment Specialist, you will work with individuals who require support in achieving their employment goals.

As an Employment Specialist, you will provide individualized support and guidance to help participants navigate the employment process, from job search and resume preparation to interview skills and job placement.


  • You will strive to deliver high-quality outcomes and contribute to the overall success of our service by building strong relationships with local employers, community providers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver services using evidence-based practices and models, such as the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model.
  • Provide tailored support and guidance to help participants achieve their employment goals.
  • Collaborate with participants, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful employment outcomes.
  • Monitor progress, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Celebrate participant successes and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term success.

Requirements:
  • A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification in Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or a related field.
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with participants, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Business development skills and the ability to build strong relationships with local employers.
  • A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle (optional).
  • The ability to obtain all required clearances, including NDIS, Working with Children, and Police Check.
