Job Title: Horticulture Apprentice

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a horticulture apprentice.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in parks and gardens or horticulture to learn a trade and gain valuable experience.

The successful applicant will work under the guidance of experienced tradesmen and women, learning how to manage and maintain gardens and vegetation.

The key areas of training include:

  • Pruning trees, weeds, and vegetation
  • Maintenance of lawns and grass

To be considered for this apprenticeship, applicants must have a genuine interest in the trade, a good level of fitness, and a positive attitude. A valid driver's license, own transport, and a White Card are also essential.

We encourage applicants with a Year 12 completion but do not require it. Throughout the apprenticeship, you will complete a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or Horticulture through TAFE NSW, leading to a trade-qualified occupation. Other relevant tickets and qualifications will also be covered during the course.

During your time with us, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the field of horticulture. You will work in a supportive team environment and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
