We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our National Asset Management and Planning team. As a Senior/Associate Water & Sewer Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and undertaking the technical assessment of water supply and sewerage networks to address drivers such as growth, compliance, network performance improvement, and renewals.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:- Leading and undertaking key technical tasks across a broad range of high-profile water infrastructure projects.
- Preparing well-written technical reports and proposals on medium to large projects.
- Supervising and coordinating project team members to achieve project outcomes and meet client objectives and expectations.
- Participating in industry associations.
- Complying with all roles-specific SHEQ obligations.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience leading the delivery of efficient and effective engineering consultancy services to our public and private sector clients. You will have experience and/or qualifications in providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects, planning of water supply and sewerage networks, and preparing and delivering effective presentations and workshops.
You will also have experience in developing and maintaining client relationships and business development, developing skills to identify risks in medium/large profile projects, and understanding and implementation of hydraulic principles including some experience in hydraulic modelling.
A recognised Bachelor's Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent is required, and Chartered status CPENG is an advantage.
