Quantitative Trader Role

We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as Quantitative Traders.

About the Job
  • This is an exciting opportunity to combine skills in quantitative research with knowledge of trading to develop new electronic strategies and monitor real-time performance.
  • The life cycle of a quant project involves investigating an idea by immersing oneself in market data, leveraging tools in mathematics, statistics, and programming.
  • Through research, you may discover a new pattern that can transform into a trading signal. To assess its strength, you will run it through our backtesting environment and carefully analyze its performance.
  • If the signal produces profitable results, you will work alongside technologists to put it into production.
  • Once embedded in our electronic trading strategies, you will actively monitor their real-time performance in financial markets.

Ongoing collaboration and discussion with researchers, strategists, and traders will be essential to collect feedback and brainstorm new ideas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new electronic trading strategies using quantitative research and trading knowledge.
  • Analyze and optimize existing trading signals for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with technologists to implement new strategies in production.
  • Monitor and maintain real-time performance of trading strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing discussions with colleagues to enhance trading strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent logical reasoning.
  • Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyze large datasets, especially in Python.
  • Experience in C++ or other low-level programming languages is beneficial.
