* Assess and appraise planning applications, including the preparation of internal reports and reports to Council and Council's Delegate.
* Respond to applicant and customer enquiries in a timely manner.
* Prepare reports to Council and Council's Delegate on general planning matters.
* Provide guidance and advice to administrative staff on planning matters.
* Represent Council at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal when required.

Requirements:

* Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a similar field or relevant experience in Town Planning with lesser tertiary qualifications.
* Current driver's licence.
