About the Role

The role of a Housekeeper is a critical component of a healthcare organization's environmental services team, where they collaborate to provide patient-centered care and advanced medical services in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist with linen supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and organizing storage areas effectively.
  • Contribute to waste management, adhering to recycling and disposal guidelines.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or medical facility setting.
  • A current Working with Children Check and Police Check (National Police Certificate) are required.
  • Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights are necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
