Heavy Lift Engineer Position

The position of Heavy Lift Engineer is a high-level engineering role that involves leading complex projects related to heavy lift operations. This includes planning, executing, and managing heavy lift activities, which involve the movement and placement of heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed lifting plans and rigging designs for heavy lift operations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the setup and execution of rigging operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to rigging crews during lifting operations.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Lead and manage heavy lift engineering projects from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure all heavy lift activities adhere to safety regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the Construction and Engineering industry.
  • Experience working in multi-tasking environments under time pressures and deadlines.
  • Experience in heavy lift operations required.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering required.
  • In-depth knowledge of heavy lift equipment, rigging, and lifting techniques.
