Job Description

We are seeking a senior project manager to lead our engineering services team in the APAC region, based remotely in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in delivering complex projects, managing software development teams and field engineers. They will also have extensive experience successfully managing cross-cultural and multi-continent projects with internal and external resources.

As a senior project manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and completing large customer-facing projects, overseeing all aspects of project delivery and acting as the primary liaison between our engineering teams and clients.

The role entails managing projects through their complete life cycle, ensuring that both parties' goals are met. This includes delivering engineering professional services for assigned projects, working with engineering teams on custom board enablement and delivery of Ubuntu images to clients, and maintaining daily and weekly communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management Experience: 5+ years
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • Linux Knowledge: Good knowledge of Linux and the wider Open Source Software community
