About the Role: This position is responsible for providing care to patients receiving ECT, including preparation and discharge of outpatients. You will work closely with the ECT Coordinator to achieve positive outcomes for individuals receiving ECT treatment while embodying Northern Health Values.
The role requires the RPN G2 nurse to contribute to excellence in patient care and recovery, providing a positive consumer experience. You will liaise with Broadmeadows Older Adult and Adult Inpatient staff to facilitate inpatient ECT, and assist the ECT Coordinator in the day-to-day operation of ECT at Broadmeadows ECT Suite, including duties in the recovery room and waiting areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients receiving ECT
- Liaise with multidisciplinary team members
- Assist with audits and compliance surveys
