Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Car Parking Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the car park while providing an exceptional experience to both regular and casual parkers.

About the Role:

This permanent, full-time role reports directly to the Car Park Manager and Head Office. You will be working independently at Bourke Square Car Park, located in the Hardware Lane precinct, with a strong emphasis on delivering friendly and efficient customer service.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional face-to-face customer service to parkers
  • Answer calls and address queries from parkers at interstate car parks
  • Report incidents, equipment malfunctions, and building issues
  • Perform cashier duties
  • Maintain and clean car park equipment
  • Conduct general security checks and cleaning tasks
  • Assist with site preparation for events and venue hires at both car park locations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Professional appearance and attention to personal hygiene
  • Energetic, proactive, and confident with a strong sense of reliability and punctuality
  • Willingness to support team members with tasks and duties when needed
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations
  • Proven ability to work independently

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience (preferably in retail, call centers, or similar industries)
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A full Victorian driver's license
  • Computer literacy
